My trip to Rockefeller Center happened just in time for this challenge! There’s nothing more grand than the most famous Christmas Tree in the world! And the lights, spectacular!

Grand. We’ve hosted a “Big” photo challenge in the past, but for this week’s challenge, we want you to consider not just the size of something, but also that special element: the “wow factor” of a scene or subject that makes a picture so stunning. That magical quality you’re always out looking for and so excited to capture with your camera.
Done! In addition to a shot I took yesterday of the bustling holiday scene in New York City, I also included some of my more “grand” shots from the past few months. Enjoy!
The grand Holiday Season has definitely been given the green light.
The grandest kingdom in the Bahamas, the Atlantis.
Even from a distance, Manhattan is truly grand.
Imagine seeing this every morning? How, grand!
My best friend and I had a grand ol’ time picnic-ing under the Brooklyn Bridge…
As did these tourists on their grand trip to the Plaza Hotel : )
Enjoy your weekend…hope it’s just grand!

That IS grand. The Rockefeller tree was a top choice. Great photos you’ve taken here. I can’t get over the one from the binoculars, looking out at Manhattan. That is spectacular. Grand post!
