Taking Notes 1.3

As the first month of 2014 comes to a close, I took the opportunity to re-visit my first post of the New Year and remind myself of my goals and resolutions. It’s a great way to stay motivated and start month #2 on the right foot.

I hope you had a wonderful week. Here are some of my noteworthy finds from the past few days:

How delicious does a White Winter Cosmo sound? This seasonal take on the original has been a huge hit at a local bar – and it’s sure to cure those winter blues. You should probably Shake Things Up and try one tonight:

You will need:
2 oz. Stoli Razberi
2 oz. White Cranberry Juice
1/4 oz. Cointreau
Dash of simple syrup (if desired)
1 fresh lime wedge
Raspberries

Directions: Combine Stoli Razberi, juice, Cointreau, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Squeeze lime wedge. Add ice and shake. Pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a raspberry.

  1. What an inspirational quote! I could not agree more. Must always believe in the book ‘The Secret’. You get back what you put out into the universe! And of course, more importantly – that drink looks delicious. Might just try it tonight 🙂

    1. Someone just recently told me about “The Secret.” It’s so funny that you mentioned that – I have to check it out. You may also want to read “E-Squared,” by Pam Grout…I think it has a similar theme. Let me know if you try the martini!! Enjoy : )
