The Final Twelve: Day 7 “Time Spent With Family is Time Well Spent”

I’ve really come to enjoy having a blog and making an effort to write each day. But I’ve noticed that most of the times when I write, I like to have a picture from my life or the day to accompany the text. It makes sense to me, and also helps me to develop a special thought for the day. Today was no different, although there will be a lot more picture than text in this post.

I am fortunate to live in the beautiful Hudson Valley of suburban New York. My family and I spent the day hiking in Minnewaska State Park – just walking, taking in the views, and enjoying the company. It was a great day and, as I continue forward in this new career path, I am comforted in knowing that I have such a wonderful family behind me. We may not always see eye-to-eye, but at the end of the day we are each other’s best friend.

…we also like to take interesting pictures and action shots. It’s called celebrating GOOD TIMES! Enjoy!

  1. Minnewaska (and New Paltz) is probably the one thing I miss most about living in the HV. And nothing beats going there during the changing of the leaves. Le sigh. California is awesome–but we don’t get the 4 seasons 😦

Love all the pics! Still have never attempted one of those jumping photos…. but I think I need to put it on my bucket list! Keep up the writing. Cheers!
